Embodied by Honor: A New Chapter in Intimate Portraiture

For years, the word boudoir has been used to describe intimate photography, often linked with lingerie, seduction, and the idea of creating something for someone else. But as my work and purpose have evolved, so has my understanding of what these sessions truly are…and what they can be.

Embodied by Honor was born out of the desire to create something deeper. Something more honest. More healing. More authentically yours. This isn’t just about getting provocative photos taken.
It’s about how it feels to be fully seen.
To take up space in your softness and in your strength.
To reclaim your body. Not as something to fix, pose, or perform, but as something to honour.

Why I'm Stepping Away from the Word "Boudoir"

“Boudoir” has never quite captured what happens in these sessions.
It felt too narrow, too focused on the external gaze.
And while sensuality and sexiness can and does still live in this space, they’re not always the goal.

This new chapter invites you to show up however you are.
Tender. Bold. Grieving. Celebrating. Rebuilding. Becoming.
All of it is welcome.
